Here at Bishop’s Funeral Services, we promise to treat your loved ones with the upmost respect, the highest level of care, and dignity. We promise to look after you 24hrs a day between time of loss and funeral.
We will help, guide and support you throughout the registration process and we promise that one of our experienced Funeral Directors will be available to answer any questions you may have or to be an ear to listen.
We promise to provide a high standard of after care services, being there for you, as you navigate your way through your grief journey.
We provide Celebrations of Life and Non-Religious and Religious Services to suit all faiths and to meet your loved ones wishes. Providing a beautiful, bespoke service which reflects the life your loved one lived. Including an individually designed order of service which encapsulates your loved one’s life.

Stuart opened his first office in Yeovil in 2017.
His main objective was to have a clear transparency of price policy.
To assist families during their time of grief in understanding the costings and options for their loved one’s funeral, Stuart created funeral “packages”.
You will see below the services we provide and the clear pricing of these services.
You will receive an estimate of costings after your arrangement meeting so that you and your family will be fully aware.
Please note there is NO VAT to be added to the costings below as funerals are VAT exempt.
Classic Cremation Service
This service includes all the aspects you will require to provide your loved one with a beautiful funeral. Including a half coffin spray of flowers, all crematorium fees, hygienic preparation of your loved one, 50 Order Of Services, beautiful Oak veneer coffin, Vicar or Celebrant fees, 24 hour assistance from our Funeral Director for all matters, Chapel visit, repatriation of your loved one into our care (within 25 miles of office), assistance with registration, 1 family car – Mercedes-Benz limousine. Also post funeral assistance with ashes interments.
The Simple Cremation Service
This service includes all the aspects you will require to provide your loved one with a beautiful funeral. Including all crematorium fees, beautiful oak veneer coffin, Vicar or Celebrant Fees, 24 hour assistance from our Funeral Director for all matters, Chapel visit, repatriation of your loved one into our care (within 15 miles of office), assistance with registration. Also post funeral assistance with ashes interments
The Intimate Chapel of Rest Service
This is a beautiful, intimate service for your loved one, held within our stunning Chapel of Rest here at Stuart Foster Funeral Services for up to a maximum of 10 mourners to attend and say farewell. This service is conducted by one of our Celebrants or a Minister from your parish. This beautiful, intimate service can include music, readings, a eulogy and poems. It also includes a beautiful oak veneer coffin, chapel visit prior to service, repatriation of your loved one into our care (within 15 miles of office), assistance with registration, a non-attended cremation to take place following the service and all assistance with post interment of ashes, if chosen.
(Religious service can be arranged with additional costings for minister to be added)
Direct Cremation Service
This is a non-attended service. This includes taking your loved one into our care, hygienic preparation of your loved one, a beautiful, fully dressed oak veneer coffin. Once cremation has taken place at a crematorium of our choice, you will receive your loved one's cremated remains back to scatter or inter as they wished. You will also receive 24 hour assistance from our Funeral Director for all matters including registration.
Burials
Burial services are more of a bespoke service we provide, please feel free to contact us in order to talk through your wishes and build a beautiful service for your loved one.
We have many more services and products to choose from such as coffins, further limousine hire, live steam across the country and world, photograph tributes to be played during your loved ones service and many more. Your dedicated Funeral Director will talk to you about these during your arrangement meeting and fully disclose the costings.
If you are unable to attend our office to arrange your loved one’s funeral, one of our Funeral Directors accompanied by an experienced Funeral Arranger will attend your home to arrange your loved one’s funeral.
If you are not local, we have teams, facetime or skype facilities to conduct the funeral arrangement meeting and we can email all necessary paperwork to you to sign, scan and return to us.
Our into care response teams including a Funeral Director are available 24hrs a day, 365 days a year to care for your loved one if they should pass at home or hospital.
We do not have call centres, when you phone us, you will get through to one of our experienced Funeral Directors or a dedicated Funeral Arranger

Ashes into Glass
Each piece of jewellery, paperweight or bowl is exquisitely handcrafted individually. Your loved one’s cremated remains, coloured glass crystals and clear molten glass are expertly layered together using traditional techniques to create a beautiful, lasting tribute to the one you hold dear. Once cooled, it is expertly cut, polished and toughened before being set and its beauty will stand the test of time, reflecting the bond you share with your loved one.
Your chosen handcrafted item can be diamond-point engraved with a personal message if desired, and your completed item will be presented to you gift-wrapped. It takes approximately 6 weeks from ordering for your individual product to be skilfully created. Once your item has been delivered to us, we will ring you to come and collect at your convenience.
